CHALLENGES
Our existing store remodel program challenges included:
- Implementing design and quality improvements consistent with the new store program
- Developing and producing new fixtures consistent with the existing concept
- Creating systems that would generate orders and verify self management of the program
- Delivering and installing remodels correctly, on time, and on budget
PROCESS
We utilized a combination of client input, previous generation fixtures, and incomplete working drawings in order to produce items for the remodel program. For the remodel program we:
- Created working drawings and re-designed selected fixtures
- Established a process for plan take-offs, ordering, procurement, scheduling, and production specific to the program
- Provided a broad range of fixtures including casework. wall systems, floor fixtures, and hardware
- Planned and executed logistics and shipping to maximize loads and field efficiency
- Installed products with field verification by Ross Display's Install Manager and Client Manager
- Developed and produced new fixtures
- Audited the program for compliance with internal standards
- Created information and reporting systems for client review
RESULTS
To date, we have successfully:
- Installed approximately 40 remodel stores
